Mine was my first job. I worked at McDonalds, I had the worst 9 months of my life there. Really! they used to put me in the grill or fries all the time, my hands burned all time, my skin changed, started to have more oily skin and lots of pimples, lost the sence of fashion and was I irritated all the time. It also interfered with school, I had no friends and would spend all time angry thinking that I had to go back to that place. I didn't quit because I was affraid that it might seem bad in my work records if I quit a job very quickly, until June 15, 2006 when I finally gave my 2 weeks notice and June 30th was my last day. That day was soooo happy :] Well, now I have changed and my life is back to normal. After Micky D. I have had three jobs, including Hollister Co. and Banana Republic and the job I have right now at a car dealership with my family. I started there right after McDonalds and I quit my 2 retail jobs weeks after starting to keep my actual job. hehe...

My worst job was at Wendy's. I worked there little over a year.
There was a manager there that everyone hated because she was a b**** to everyone. Wendy's times their drive-thru orders so she would constantly nag us about the time but she wouldn't help us with getting the orders out--she'd be sitting around or smoking a cigarrette. It would be me on the sandwiches and I also had to get the fries, drinks, bag the orders, and hand it out.
This manager would let two other people sit back at the register when I was alone doing all that. Well they trained me on the register and I was glad that I'd be able to relax a little but no. Whenever I was on the register and the person was alone with the orders I had to go help because the manager made me; but when it was the other way around, that person never had to come help me out. I'd get yelled at for the high times and everytime I wanted to snap and just walk out.
Instead I went to the head manager. It only made this other manager angry that everyone was complaining about her but no one would say it to her face; I was tempted right then to just snap on her but instead I just put in my two weeks notice and left for good.
This manager would make other people stay later to get breaks done but when it was up to her to stay later to do breaks she wouldn't do it. If she hadn't worked there then it wouldn't have been a horrible job--because without her it was actually quite easy.
Although the owner didn't like me because I refused to tell him my name.
My friend and I decided that the theme song was It's A Hard Knock Life from Annie.

My worst job was right after Sept 11. I work in an industry that is directly tied to the financial market and when it was shut down for a week, it had a bad impact on my market for about 6 months or so. I did not want to change careers and i believed the market would rebound, so I decided to find something to off set my income temporarily as I was paid on straight commission. So I went out and got a paper route. I had to be to the paper place at 2 AM and have all the papers delivered by 6 AM. I hated it. I did it mostly during the winter- in Utah. I would get home between 6:30 and 7 and then go to bed and be to my full time job at 11:00 am. it was insane. I never ever want to do a paper route again.

My worst job was working at a nursing home. I have nothing against working at one, in fact most are pretty good to work at, but this one was horrible!!!! I only worked there for a week. All I did was change diapers and beds. I had a lady attack me on the Alzheimer's ward. She tried to rip my top off because I wouldn't let her out of the doors. While I was there, we had 3 people die, one other CNA get beat up by a resident- he ended up in the hospital with a broken nose, two black eyes and bruised ribs. I don't think it was really that it was a bad place, just under staffed and I always seemed to end up on memory lane- the Alzheimer's unit. I'm very glad that I found a nice job working for a doctor after that!!!

My worst job was last year. In April of 2006 I took a job with a small telecommunications company. They would do things like run phone lines in people's homes or places of business. We would also help people out when they had phone or internet connection problems. At first it wasn't too bad, but it was never what I wanted. It got worse when after I had been there almost a month and they hired someone else to help them out. This guy had about 10 years doing this kind of work. At first we got along alright, but after awhile he was a real jerk to me. He would talk to me like I was stupid when I'd make a mistake. I tried talking to the owner about it and she didn't really want to deal with him. It's funny that you ask this question today because it was actually on June 12, 2006 that I quit. I was going to quit anyways, but this jerk just made it that much sooner.

My first job was Mickey D's as well, and I hated it...BUT it's not the worst job I have had.
The worst has to be when I worked in the poultry section of a meat packing factory.
Imagine this..it's really cold, VERY smelly and so loud you can't hear the person next to you. The manager was a b@tch who loved to scream at people. The line went really quickly and if you didn't keep up everyone would glare at you and yell. Meanwhile you have only been there a week and they are going on ten years.
It was just terrible and I would wish that job on no one..not even my worst enemy.

there's a book called Fired! and movie by the same name. It was written by this woman who was fired from an acting job by Woody Allen and he actually said she was "retarded". She makes light of the experience and gets a whole bunch of Hollywood celebrities to talk about jobs they've been fired from. Its HILARIOUS.

The worst job I ever had was working at Target. I lasted 2 weeks. I felt like a slave and was practically paid like one. It cost me more in gas to get there and back than I made.

The worst job I ever had was vacuuming floors in an office building for four hours a night, it is excruciatingly boring to the point of being painful!

I once did bike deliveries in December and January in DC. My hours were 8pm-4am. In addition to the constant falling and slipping on ice, I was hit by two cars.
I've only worked in offices since then.

I've heard those McGrills can be a b____.
