Full-time is usually 40 hours per week but could be as much as 32 and some companies will offer benefits for full-time associates. It doesn't mean that you will work everyday you usually get two days off a week and not necessarily together.
If you are honest and upfront with the day you have to volunteer that could be one of your days off. Just be upfront and honest from the start. Good Luck

That means you work 40 hours a week on a normal week. (There may be some weeks where you are required to work OT and some weeks that the volume may not be there and you work less.) The days of the week are set by the company. Some places work Mon - Fri, some places work 7 days a week and people get 2 days off during the week, but it may not be the same 2 days off each week. Some places work 3 or 4 days on 12 hour shifts and get the other 3 - 4 days off work. During the interview, if the person interviewing does not clarify, ask the interviewer at the end of the interview.

It depends on the job, but usually full-time is defined as working 40 hours in one week. That can be split up however, and a lot of places these days define full-time as working 35-40 hours a week.
Anything over 40 hours is considered "over time" and you get paid time-and-a-half (your normal hourly wage, plus half your normal hourly wage). If you work for a salary, you basically just have to work as many hours as they tell you to work, so "full time" can be anything from 35-8 bazillion. lol
If you need to work something out so you can have one day off a week for volunteer stuff, just talk with your employer and see if they can work around that. If not, perhaps try for a different job, or go "part time" (usually 35 hours or less) and just get as many hours as you can.

Full time is generally considered 36-40 hours per week, regardless of how many days of the week, although some places consider anything over 32 hours per week to be full time. It depends on the employer and where you live.

Full-time means 40 hours a week. It is usually 8.5 hours a day (.5 is unpaid for lunch), for five days a week. Depending on your shift, you could work morning, afternoon, or evening hours any 5 out of 7 days a week.

Full time depends on the number of hours you work in one week. Usually it is 35 and more... but it depends on your state's work laws.
