the denominations of the church....

i mean im glad that martin luther did the whole protestant reformation and all, cuz i do hav some problems with catholocism (im not bashing it its just my opinion), but all the denominations hav sorta turned into different "little religions" of christianity and some of these denominations actually FIGHT over whos all right

i mean theres ONE God, why do ppl think theres a one RIGHT way to worship him?

ive grown up in a babtist church all my life....just so u know

it's largely because of the hate inherent in xians...

they even hate and disagree with one another with such fervor, that they break apart and worship in more than a thousand different sects within their cult. it's crazy!

I hear ya . . . but if you are diggin, and I mean diggin deep into the word . . . you know there is right, and there is wrong thinkin . . . at any level, there is a wrong way to 'take it' and a 'Bible way'. . . .a way that follows the scriptures . . . and these differences are the whole denomination thing in a nutshell.

So one is 'called' to step away from the road most traveled and set out on the road less traveled . . . the road of study, and knowing . . . not following a man and his rules, but the Word and His rules! Not fight . . . but knowledge! Knowing what you know and why you know it!

Ticks me off: somebody asserting undesirable and terrible stuff approximately mothers/my mom. which includes, "your mom's a wh*re". How could somebody say that? additionally what ticks me off is how somebody can set a favourite for others to stick to, or spout some self-proclaimed good judgment, then they do no longer even stick to it yet get indignant at others who do no longer. Makes me cry: Er...onions? Makes me happy: My kinfolk.

I guess that is human nature to think our way is the only right way. Some day Jesus will come and set it all right. You know a few years back when many cities held the "March for Jesus", it was good to see so many Christians come together and really just celebrate Jesus.

Baptists are as "division"-all as other denonominations.
They still law impute sin and death to all for the hell of it.

"Division" & not peace is of "Jesus": Mt 10:34; Lk 12:51.
John 7:43; 9:16 says there was division because of him.

On the contrary Christ brought "peace", and isn't divided.
So eternal salvation is notably "through Jesus -> Christ".
Christ of J -> C is the end of the law; Saviour of the world.
"Christ"-ians should be focused on "Christ", not on Jesus.

Pure religion arrived undefiled and remained unspotted.
IMPure religions tend to get spotted and spot others too.
IMP is kinda like aids, gets passed along, from ppl to ppl.

Division occurs in plural divided "heavens" on "high",
to which "Jesus" ascended to the right of such left/right,
which is still a blame game of law vw law & law vs grace.

Even God can't be one by division, but is one by unity.
Somebody PLEASE tell the Baptists this simple fact.
God isn't author of confusion or division, but of peace.
So then the God on "high" is the false God, "divided".

Rom 12 says "mind not high things", such as "high" priests.
Rom 16:17 says mark & AVOID them which cause divisions.
Romans 11:20 and 1Timothy 6:17 say "be not high-minded".
2Timothy 3 reveals "high-minded" is among "un-holy" things.

Above "high" is where "Christ" ascended, notably for "us".
Christ appeared to God in heaven: higher than the heavens.

Ppl recovering from highs speak of a HIGHER pwr afterward:

Ummm I dont think that it works that way...different denominations is reliant on the experiences and beliefs of people, we have read about Constantine and he tried to unite everyone under one religion and that didn't work out so well...it jus doesn't pan out to be one big world you know?

Fast or eat meat? Either is fine if you do it to honor God.

I understand what you mean but the "one God, many ways to worship" thing kinda breaks your arguement. I just like worshiping and praising God like the Bible says

worship: in Spirit and in Truth (I don't care how you define it, I care how the Holy Spirit defines it)

praise: instruments, hymns, songs, voices..... it goes on

I don't think anyone should care, As long as well all agree that Jesus died for our sins and the only way to god is through him. end fo story who cares how you worship him. as long as you remember that its all good.
