You are talking about 2 separate locations. The huge Coke screen is at the intersection of West 47th Street between 7th Avenue & Broadway. New Year's Eve is at West 43rd Street between 7th Avenue & Broadway (Times Square).

Times Square. That's where Seventh Avenue and Broadway cross each other. Right where they cross is Duffy's Park, where they sell two for one theater tickets for Broadway shows not sold out.
