The House of Blues has a really cool Sunday Gospel Brunch, with Southern Style "comfort foods", not too fancy, but lots of it. It's a pretty memorable event, with the a Gospel Choir that really gets the audience involved and keeps them entertained.
It's $35 for adults, $18.50 for kids. All seats are good, because the venue is small.

If you or your dad have access to Naval installations, you may want to check out one of the places that offer Father's day Brunch. The Island Club at North Island is awesome and a reasonable price. Check the website below and find a place that fits your needs. Oh, and don't forget the reservations. These places tend to fill up quickly.

Belle Fleur is a nice sit-down restaurant inside the Carlsbad Outlet Mall. Their Sunday brunch is very reasonably priced, and they have a very good selection.

Tom Hams Lighthouse on Harbor Isl is nice, they have a great seafood spread and beautiful view of the water. I also like El Torito, no view, but great salads, omelets, tacos, all the sides and desert for about $12 per person. It also includes champagne!

If you want somewhere fun and ab-so-lute-ly the best breakfast in San Diego go to Hash House a go-go http://www.hashhouseagogo.com/home.html
It is fun and small. However, the food is fantastic....believe me. It is totally Hillcrest casual.....anything goes. Huge and fun portions. Dad will love it. They usually don't take reservations...call and check. Just go and hang out with everyone else.......it is worth it.

Go to The Cheesecake Factory.
They have good prices for all the food you get. The atomsphere is amazing and so is the service. If you're not into the champagne thing so early in the day, they have delicious tropical iced tea that is made fresh, and their green iced tea to great too.
Check out their site.

Enjoy!
