well Ive seen pictures of people doing this, does it make the beer go down faster?

They never learned how to drink socially or can't handle themsevles publically. Alcohol Induces relaxation and leading to inebriation. Why get drunk fast when "friends" either leave them behind or take advantage with ridicule. Sure it's funny until it happens to you. Who needs friends like that when there are others who drink and eat socially all night, take care of their friends and still make it home to party another day? If your friends get drunk fast it's time to look for new friends. I'm 58 and partied like crazy but not once was there a time we drank to get drunk fast, we got drunk but drank all night, made sure no one drove drunk, make sure they slept it off, and made sure everyone was accountable and safe when they got home. The saying holds true "Friends don't let friends drive drunk". Take care of your friends and they'll take care of you. If they don't, it's time to replace them. Of course these words are not directed at you, just providing info based on past experience. Remember to drink at your own pace. Never guzzle or play "catch up", chances are no one will be there to catch you when you "get there".

KEG STAND!!
Apparently it make you get drunk faster, but I think it's just because people try to drink as much as they can before everybody drops them!

Its called a keg stand and you get really drunk really fast. You should try it sometime and see how long you can last
