I had my head shaved. It was an exhilerating experience!
My boyfriend did it for me. The best part was when he put the warm shaving lather on my head and finished the shave with a straight edge razor. You can't imagine the feeling of a completely smooth head. I would strongly recommend doing it. I'm looking forward to my touch up.

I think it'd be a huge mistake to shave your head. I'm really open about all things, but shaving your head is asking for a bit of trouble. Think what it'll be like to grow it back out? You'll be so very limited on what you can do with it, and you know you won't want to keep it shaved forever.

Well, first off, consider the consequences of this (I know, I know, sounds like your mom...). But really, think about how you will feel about the hairstyle in a month's time.
If your still feel confidant that you want to shave your head, go for it! Your boyfriend should like you for who are, not for your hair. Tell him what you intend to do, and then DO IT!!!! You are your own person and have just as much right as he does to change your style!

It depends on how serious you are with your boyfriend! If you guys are real serious,and in love do not shave your head,but if he is just some fly by night fling,go right ahead!After all it is your head,not his.lol

Hmm.. Listen if you want my oppinion, don't shave your head. It is one of the worst things you can do, and you will soon come to regret it. But, if you really want to and your bf doesn't accept it, maybe he isn't good bf material. I mean a bf is supposed to support you through thick and thin, and love you no matter what you look like. Its your personality that he should want you to keep. :]

don't listen to all these people! i've always wanted to shave my head...but i just don't have the face for it. i think it can be a good look for some women (very few) that have the right face for it. if you think it'll look good then go for it. its hair, it'll grow back. and and you can always wear stylish scarves or mix it up with wigs. if your boyfriend can't handle that, maybe he's just too shallow. you should be with someone who loves for who you are, not what your hair looks like. for everyone else: IT'S HAIR IT GROWS BACK.

I don't think you should shave your head either. Part of a woman's beauty is definitely her hair.

when i was in the military i had this option. i was dating someone and he told me the same thing. and my dad also got mad when i mentioned it. but in the end i shaved my hair off. it was so much eaiser to maintain and not only that but i would wear my military hat without my hair getting in the way. also i could wear scarfs and amongst other things. well my dad got over being mad and my bf got mad but he got over it because in the end he loved me for who i was and not in love with my hair. i had a blast with it

I don't know what other girls did - but if my girl shaved her head - I would find another - quickly.
