I was trying to think of an answer...I just realized, I don't have a good word to say, about either of them. So, I guess I'll just back out of here, and say a prayer for the dearly departed.
My foster parents were there , at least they didn't dump us and run the other way.

I relate to both very well. My personality and temperament are more like my father's, so I guess that maybe I can relate to him a little bit better than my mother. I understand what he's thinking very well. My sister's personality is more like my mother, but an extremely exaggerated version. (Total drama queen. lol.)

My mother. If my father wasn't my father, he isn't someone I'd probably even really look at much less get to know. My stepdad though, is a great guy. I miss my mom. She died in 2003.

My father. My parents divorced when I was very young, and it took me years to figure out that problems I had with my mother were effectively the result of my continuously reminding her of him.

my father. he tries to get help while my mother in in denial. i can't stand it when people refuse to help themselves.
