tell him not now, or that you have homework. i know how adorable-ness haunts us, but you have to be strong, or you will turn into a daycare worker

I don't know how old you are, but most younger siblings like to play with older ones.

You should really make an effort to play with him for a while every day. Give him some of your time and then tell him that you need some time to do something on your own.

As he gets older, he will spend more time with his own friends. But he will remember the time you spend together when he is an adult.

Irresistable right?

Well i have a 6 yar old sister and she NEEDS attention, so she comes and bugs me or my sister, mom, dad, even my 17 year old brother. Most of the time i figure it would be appreciated by my parents to give her a little bit of time now and then, but she has to give my time too. It's a fair trade. If i'm having a bad day and absoultely need the space, i just tell my parents or ignore her. Which is hard, but i somehow manage.

Set up a play time with him maybe every other day. OR you can play with him between 4-5 each day for sure.

I'm glad you're trying and that you still think he's cute because he probably is.

well if hes so adorable then make memories with him and then you can share them with him when he is older. And plus get your playin out now because when he gets around 12 he will only want to hang out with friends.

if you talk to him and explain things maybe he'll leave you alone more. make a deal with him. you give him an hour or so of your time each day in exchange for letting you have your privacy the rest of the time. if he knows he can have your undivided attention for a while, he'll be more apt to respect your space.
