You need to remove your illegal tint from your windows and take your car into a CHP station where a CHP officer will check to see that your window tint is now legal and if it is he will sign off on your ticket and turn it in so you will not get an arrest warrant for failure to comply. CA is very strict on illegal window tint so don't go back out and retint your windows at illegal percentages. Check what the law allows before you waste more money.

Whipping the dead horse here. Take the tint off. I hate window tint and cite it whenever I can.
Get an officer to sign the ticket and I guess in CA you have to pay a fine as well.
In my state you get a real ticket and it will run you more then $10.

Tinted windows are illegal in California. so, save yourself more problems and remove the tinting BEFORE you go tp court on the original ticket. That way you can tell the judge you removed the tinting as soon as you realized it was illegal. The judge may well dismiss the whole thing. If not, pay the fine and don't tint your windows anymore.

you may anticipate having to pay the full quantity for the fee ticket (various by utilizing state, yet as much as $250), rather of the $20 you will possibly pay while displaying which you will possibly bumped off them. In some states a 2nd offense is a misdemeanor. it is not a shifting violation.
