I tried putting it on his paw but his just flicked it off and didn't seem to notice. Where should it go that he won't be able to flick it off but can still reach to lick and injest it?

Well since he can "flick it off" just means you have too much in one spot where he can just shake it off. Try using more of his paw leg area and smear it in better. That way he has to really lick and work at getting it off ;) Like some have said...some cats will just lick it from a spoon....but mine will not. Really smoosh it in there lol The fur that is

The best place to put hairball paste is on the roof of the cat's mouth (the hard palate). Put some of the paste on your finger, open the cat's mouth (have someone help you if the cat won't let you do this; they can be difficult as they don't like to have their mouths messed with) and gently smear the paste on the roof of their mouth. The only way for them to get it off is with their tongue, and from there it should be swallowed. If you mix it with their food and they don't like the paste, they just won't eat the food. If you put it on their nose, it may just get rubbed off somewhere else.

Well first off.. why dont you just feed it to him. Try mixing it with his food. But if you cant do that you may want to put it on his shoulder area around the top part. If you have ever seen him lick his shoulder just aim for that spot. Another spot would be the chest or his nose. Most cats dont like things on their noses. Just blow on it after and he should lick it. Good Luck !

It has to be the hairball because it no longer causes the host body problems. I will not say anything more about Paris Hilton. Have a good day.

I put my cats hairball paste on their nose to where they can lick it off. I have noticed with my 2 cats that they will lick it off instead of "flick" it off.

Try the month, some of the cats love the taste. Mine will just take it from the tube. All the best;^)

you can try putting it on your index finger and putting it next to the cat's nose .as soon as the cat sniffs it usually the cat will lick it.
