Can I still bring shampoo, lotions, and other similar items? I'm 15 years old and flying by myself. Have any good tips?

You can bring it just pack everything in your checked bag. If it's anything that can leak, put it in a Ziploc bag first.

Hi Wendy. Yes you can bring all your toiletries with you. Make sure to pack them in your check in baggage. As far as tips go... Make sure that all metals that you are carrying are in your carry on luggage. cell phone, ipod, keys, change or anything else with metal in it so you don't have to do the statue pose as they wave the wand over your bod. Wear shoes that you can slip on and off easily. They usually want to put them through the xray. you might want to remember that there are many choices for food on the plane and you can request vegitarian or low carb meals before the flight. If you have your own credit cards and are leaving the country, Make sure that the credit card company knows in advance. If charges start coming in from morrocco and they havn't been informed they will cancle the card trying to protect you. Can be a major pain. Isle or Window seat. I always prefer the window because you can see out and there is something to lean up against other than the fat guy in the seat next to you. but... some people prefer the isle. Even if you have a preassigned seat you can usually change this at the gate. Remember. Everything that is for sale in the airport costs about triple what it would cost down the block. I some times bring snacks or home made sandwiches with me if I am going to be on a long flight. Shmooz one of the stewardesses when you first get on the plane. Tell them you are by yourself and its your first flight etc. If they really like you they might bump you up to business class. The best tip of all is to relax and have fun.

all liquids can be no larger that 3 oz. and must be in a ziplock back no larger than a quart size

other tips

do not wear any jewlery or any metal of any kind, put them in your carry on bag

if you take a laptop, make sure it can easly be pulled out of your back, since the have to be seperate to go through the scanner

no lighters, or any sharp object, leave them at home

wear slip on shoes, since almost all airports will have you take them off now.

if you want to be more comfortable during your flight, once your have made your reservation, go online to the airline you are flying with, and look at the seating chart for your flight. look for a available seat in an emergancy exit, or the first row by a partition, then call the airline to have your seat changed, this will give you more leg room

get to the airport at least 2 hours prior to flight boarding time, once at the gate, go to the counter and ask for a comp upgrade, if a seat is available in first class, you may get it free of charge

I flew with Delta when i went to Atlanta, I am not sure, I just chose not to bring them and bought new stuff when I got there. Check out the Delta website for a complete list of restricted items.

Yes..To carry-on: Be sure that each item is a travel size 3 oz. bottle or container and put everything in a Quart size ziplock baggie. When you get to security have the bag out already and place it in a separate bin to place through the security
x-ray.

Yes, just not explosive shampoo or lotions. You can bring a diet shampoo if you have a prescription.

3 oz bottles (or less) only of each item. It would be wise to put them all in a clear quart-sixed zip-lock bag for easy inspection.

since you don't use them while you are on the plane...it is safe for you to put in your checked in luggage regardless of their size and weight. But if you decide to put in your carry on...put them in ziploc and has to be like 3 oz each like that. To avoid problems on that...better check them in. It will cost you nothing. On your carry on, it will cost you questioning.

they can go in your check in, but if you plan on carrying them in your carry on then they must be 3 ounces or less and in a quart size clear plastic ziploc bag
