Like I mean my dad owns a buisiness right, he gets a ton of windows operating system disks he never uses. You know how you can put windows on a mac? Could I do this with one of those? Or do I have to buy a special version from Apple?

If you have an intel-based mac its possible, but not easy. See link for reference:

The easiest way to find out is try installing some of the software. If the programs work and are compatible with your Apple you might try some of the other programs that you might like to use.

Check the system requirements on the box. If it doesn't say Mac compatible, then it will only run on a pc.
