Hi, I want to just tell you before anything that I am a Wiccan, So I appreciate all religions, My Great Grandma was in a nursing home for maybe a month and a half. She had please forgive the spelling but I will spell it like it sounds, Altimers. She would not eat, She was starving herself to death, And the reason I ask this is because today she died, And she was a devout Catholic. So would you please say a prayer?

Hope the following will bring you peace in your time of loss.

God looked around His garden and He found an empty place,
He then looked down upon this earth, and saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest,
Gods garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.

He saw that the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb.
He closed your weary eyelids and whispered "Peace be thine."

It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.

My prayers are with you that you may find peace in this time of loss. Know that your great grandmother is now at peace and resting in the arms of God.

I'm sorry to hear that. Pray for you, or your GGM? I can only pray for you.

"Lord I pray that you shall grant consolation and comfort to those burdened by the death of this woman. I pray that your Holy Spirit shall comfort the family, and give light unto them. Amen"

no that's not recited. I know death is terrible. Blessings

I just prayed for your family. I'm sorry about your great grandma. Altzheimers is a bad disease. Quite a few old people have it and they eventually just lose all of their mind.

I am saddened to hear that you have suffered a great loss. Your Great Grandmother had suffered bravely with Alzheimer's disease. She believed in God and she was saved. Take comfort in the fact that she is with Jesus right now. Her journey has ended in Heaven and her joy is revealed. I will pray for you and your family, in the Amighty and Merciful Name of Jesus!

Sorry, but God has it all planned out, so thinking that God would deviate a notch from his Plan by our mere non-sense mumbling would be a tick too arrogant.
