First of all, how long is your hair?

It seems that most people that have hair longer than where their bra stap would go, can cut their hair to about that length and no one ever notices. Trust me, I have gone in several times and cut off a few inches and no one ever noticed.

The best option is always to get your hair trimmed every couple fo months. I usually go about every 6 so that I can grow my hair out during that time, and then I still argue with my stylist about how much he wants to cut off.

Make sure that the stylist you use knows that its very important to you that you keep the length of your hair. Sometimes you can layer your hair to get rid of more of the damaged ends while still keeping some length to your hair.

Go get a trim to remove the dry ends.

For maintenance between trims: Section and pin up your hair while it is dry. Twist each section & trim off the split ends that stick out w/ a small pair of scissors. (e.g. baby scissors or cuticle scissors)

just get an inch or so cut off...it'll still be long...and if that dosent work and you end up cutting your hair short-hes your husband, he likes you for more than your long hair.

just nip the ends to get started. Deep conditioning is a good way to correct and prevent it. If there is a beauty supply in your area purchase a jar of cholesterol to deep condition your hair weekly or bi-weekly. Personally the one with mango and shea butter is my favorite.
