Example if you are sentenced 10 years in prison. How much time can be reduced if you have good behavior in prison?

There should be truth in sentencing. Give them brownie points if they are good in prison not early release. Just because they might be good in Prison doesn't mean they won't commit any crimes when they get out.

This varies from state to state and even county to county. It depends on several factors, like over crowding at the facility, seriousness of your crime. You can expect, with good behaviour to serve about half your sentence.

one third if you remain charge free all of your sentence. depending on the state or country, ie canada, usa.
