These are the types of jobs I'm looking for: Interior design assistant, Personl assistant, Admin. Assistant(this is the last one I'd want to do) Or maybe working at Ikea or somewhere where I can help with the visual set up-I'm going to school this fall at the art institute for interior design. I'm having a hard time redoing my resume. I've been an admin. assist. the last cpl of years and front desk at a hotel. The MS word resume wizard...I donno i just dont like the set up. I'm a 24 year old female in San Diego, thats just trying to chase my dream and my current resume sucks...i think. I dont know what to put for a summary of qualifations, and objective...all that. I'M STUCK!! And really need a good job...SOON!

you don't really need an objective, employers know your real objective is to make money by finding a job.

The top half of your resume is prime real estate, put the most atractive stuff here to increase the chance that someone will take the time to read the whole thing. For summary of qualifications, put one bullet point for each job or degree you have that is relevant, you can give details like the school you went to, awards you recieved at previous jobs in the sections below. emphasize years experience and other key qualifications in this section, it is exactly as it sounds, a SUMMARY of your qualifications.

Don't worry too much about format, just make sure its clear and not cluttered (some white space is good) and the format is the same throughout, like if you have dates of schooling along the right, the dates of past jobs should also be along the right edge, use the same font and bullet styles etc.
