"Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."
—Revelation 20:9-15
"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

Global warming is real. "Hell" (and "heaven") are imaginary. As an American, I'd be happy to know that more Americans fear global warming than Hell. Unfortunately, I doubt its true.

It's really sad Americans fear global warming more than the terror of hell. You know the one plague that God sends on earth during the Tribulation? When there is unbearable heat on earth? I think global warming may just be God's warning sign for that and he's getting everything ready. LOL. Yeah, that was a crazy idea I came up with the other day reading the Left Behind books. Global warming - hell...hmmm....I would much rather deal with the global warming and know I'm going someplace better than to deal with hell, place of eternal torment plus all that heat...like thousands times thousands worse than global heating.
PS. It's great to see someone on here that actually knows what they are talking about, and is not trying to say, look how stupid you are for believing this.

I think it is more sad that people like you who focus your thoughts and beliefs on an apocolypse are in fact manifesting the apocolypse. Your continued belief in the myths that you are quoting as fact is actually contributing to the destruction of the planet. Heaven and hell are a myth created to keep you under control by the church. There is no reward in heaven. There is only the afterlife and the next life. It's sad that you want your legacy to be that you contributed to fear, hate and destruction. You will have much karma to work through in your next life.

Jesus said there were people like you who quote scripture but don't let it into your heart. Think you are better than the rest? There is a place in that lake just for you.
By sending the crusades 1000 years ago, religion caused the problems in the middle east today - because Arab people NEVER forget. Iraq will be broken by their own religious strife. Religion has been the great scurge of the world.
Thanks for the thumbs down. Religious zeolots don't like having scripture quoted at them either.

No, it is sad that some people would rather blindly believe a 2000 year old book than take a serious look at what is going on in the actual world around them.
Hell is non-existent.

People fear what they see!
You know when you die that you will go to heaven right!
So does that mean you wouldn't be afraid to be eaten by a great white shark?
The fear of pain and suffering means more to people while they are breathing then something that may or may not happen to them when they are already dead!

Science isn't global warming.. it's the observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena.
Global warming is a very real event that is taking place in our lifetime. Your imaginary place of eternal torment has no basis or foundation. The two are not comparable in any way.

nicely particular yet not the way you notice it western religions instruct individuals that the international and the life in it the place given to them with the aid of god to do as they please. and because this life ain't substantial any way, and God is going to break it at some point any way, conservation of animals, recycling and not polluting the air and rivers incredibly has no component god needs us to break the plant, that why he gave it for us... so particular faith is between the justifications in the back of international warming

Yeah, but if we all died tomorrow from a global catastrophe, many more souls would be lost than if we curb that same avoidable global disaster, and thus gained more time to win souls to the Lord.
Right?

This is the only thing that makes me doubt faith. Could you imagine hanging out in heaven with a dozen people like this? That would be unbearable. What are these people going to talk about in heaven after "the saving" is done?
