I have been searching and searching for the perfect song to dance to with my father at my wedding...does anyone have any good suggestions?

I let my dad choose the song for our dance. He is able to find something meaningful to him and I think it will be a touching suprise for me :) He was really happy that he was involved in some aspect of the planning too since he was feeling a little put to the side since my hubby will be the #1 man in my life now.
The way I see it the father/daughter dance is more for him and his memories. Its the hubby wife dance thats more about ME.

For mine we are dancing to a song called I loved her first by Heartland. Perfect song for father daughter dance for a wedding.

"My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw. I danced with my dad to this. It took me forever to find but I knew it was the right song because I started crying when I heard it. I also love "I Loved Her First". Good Luck!!

My daughter told me that when she gets married the daddy/daughter dance will be to "I loved Her First". She knows this would immediatly bring tears to his eyes...
Little does she know- I clued her father in and he is practicing it on guitar and the vocals- he is going to beat her to the punch and seranade her right after the toast!

I am doing Heartlands I loved her first for my father and I but then also doing He didn't have to be and I have just went blank to who sings it for me and my step father to dance too. Congrats and I hope your day is wonderful!!!

I danced with my dad to "Because You Loved Me." It was a toss up between that one and "Wind Beneath My Wing." I just wanted something that showed I love my dad soooo much!
