Shaving the Underarms?

Can anyone help me? Every time I try to shave my underarms (which is everyday because the air grows so fast) little stubs of hair are always left. My skin just gets irritated and I can never achieve that smooth hairless look. I use the venus breeze. Any ideas?

Shaving doesn't do it for me either. I have quite dark skin and hair and hate that 5 o'clock stubble look! I use Veet hair removal cream, but it has to be the one for course hair. Smells bloody awful but works really well, really smooth, less painful than waxing and last about 2 days on me. Just be prepared to be able to do absolutely nothing for 7 - 10 minutes while the cream works. You literally have to stand with your arms in the air. But if you can hold a book with your feet and urn the page with your toes you'll be fine :-)

Ya know, I've tried the new Venus Breeze and get the same results. I just went back to my old razor and and don't have to shave as often. Or you might try using a rechargeable razor. Like the ones they have for men, but they are made for women. I seem to get better results from that than a regular razor.

Try Veet or Nair Removal Cream. If you prefer to shave use a razor that gives a clean shave, something like Gillette Razors.

Don't shave, try wax and it will for weeks. And also you'll have a smooth look. At the end of the summer you may go Laser hair removal for a permanent solution.

Try shaving at a different time during the day.If you shave in the morning try at night or during the day. The skin is puffed up during the morning and that may be why your not getting a close shave.

I am not sure but i think there is a nair lotion you might be able to use if you dont want to wax! I think nomatter what shaving will always leave a little stubble on some people! but if you still want to shave, try a shaving gel!

try using shaving cream that is special for dry skin, and make sure you use a clean, new razor head and shave slow and try in the opposite direction, hope this helps!

my idea is to wax!!!! I wax my underarms every two weeks waxing works even though there is a little pain. I would rather go through a little pain than have irrated skin.

its hard to shave everyday because there isnt enough hair to cut off. try shaving everyother day and on the days you dont shave, wear a jacket or a longsleeve shirt. it should help!

keep on shaving and you ll never get the smooth skin you want. as the common sense says, wax it!!
