It would be too expensive and complicated to impliment a magnetic system anytime in the near future. They should start implementing that with public transit.

Oil comanies would still be around - all plastics are made from oil. I don't think they would try to interfere with the creation of a magnetic traffic system.

Now that is pretty amazing stuff! I understood it even though I'm not Portuguese. (Italian is close enough)

I think that is one of the best concepts I've seen yet and I hope someone pushes the idea to North America.

Hey if it was enough to power a moped a small car that can hold a few people...I'm game! I don't want the bills and added expenses...the money I'd save would be like leaving behind a part time job wouldn't it...heck maybe even a full time job the way prices are going!!!

Good job, brilliant idea. I love creative thinkers....maybe the kids from Destination Imagination will one day use their brilliant minds for ideas like this! ;~)

When will people understand there is no such thing as a perpetual motion machine. If anyone ever invented one (and thus violated one of the most accepted LAWS--not theories--of science) it would be used by everyone.

Magnetism, by itself is not a souce of energy. It takes electricity to produce those alternating magnetic fields. That means some form of energy had to turn a magnet (or a coil of wire) to produce electricity. You should push the electric car, it would be easier to produce than essentially a magnetic conveyor belt in every road.

Consider this. How much oil will it take to produce the considerable amount of electricity to power one of these vehicles.

Will we really come out ahead?

Does it create anti gravity as well? ;-)
