Blind faith is not a good thing at all. As a Christian I am required to ponder the nature of God all the time, everywhere I go, in everything I see. It is totally acceptable to say to oneself "how can there be a God when there is such and such" but I have found that even when I ask this question, new re-confirming knowledge eventually finds its way to me and I can see a little bit more of God's nature than I did before. Although the evidence is totally unverifiable in the scientific sense (I cannot share it with other people and still make sense to them), it somehow finds its way into the most unscrutable recesses of my being. As result, not only do I learn to love God with my heart and soul but also my MIND.
As for what I think about other peoples' Gods: they are all erroneous, including my own current knowledge of the true God's nature. The truth will always be much stranger than our feeble mortal minds can comprehend.

You have asked a lot of questions, but I will respond in this way -When I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior and into my heart, I had to believe that HE IS and though I don't 'see' him, I know him through His word. We can't see the wind either but we know it is there - we feel it. So it is with the Spirit of God in my life. This is the faith of which I believe and though my natural eyes don't see- I am more than a natural person - I am a spirit first and I believe through my spiritual eyes. That is all that matters. Faith, although without works is dead - so even in my faith - I am still working and doing what Jesus asked us to do - go and teach and tell everybody about him and what he has done. This is the gospel - the good news and I know one day He will return just as He promised. I have no fear of people who ask questions - even if they don't believe. All I can do is tell them of the good news. If their hearts are heartened, they will not accept or believe and there is nothing else I need to do except to pray that the seed planted will not fall on stoney ground, and hopefully someone else will come behind me and water the seed and the seed will grow.

I do not have faith in religion, I have faith in Jesus Christ. I have asked questions, grew up in Christian home going to a Christian church and looked at other religions in college and was accepting of other beliefs. However, when everything else left me empty I came back and for the first time found out who Jesus was and what He did for me and for everyone by dying for my sins so that I could be free from sin. I have looked elsewhere and found that there is only one true God and one Savior. I have no fear of inquisitive people, and most people truly inquisitive are not called atheist, atheists have decided there is no God.

"we all evolved from the same two people"...hmmm, in the evolutionary process, the evolutionary change usually results in the extinction of the former organism. How do you know we "evolved", and how do you know it was from just two originating organisms? Seems rather unlikely.
And to whom do you direct your question regarding blindness? And if you believe they are blind, why would you type what you know they cannot see? None of what you have written makes any logical sense whatever. Suggest you expand your own knowledge of the english language and how to use it before you post such drivel again and prove what many now suspect, ie that you are just alot of hot air and not to be taken seriously.

You asked alot of questions here, but I will try to answer them:
Yes, I think different Religions have different names, but in the end they all
mean just one thing GOD
I really don't like the words "blind Faith"...
I have faith in God and it is not blind.
And I have studied many Religions over the years...someday I will count them up...what I settled on was Christianity.
And I do ask and inquire about different religions...One in particular, I have found out alot about this year...Knowledge is the key here...You can't understand others beliefs
if you know nothing about them.
I have nothing against Atheists..in fact I have One very good friend, and on R & S
I have
more than acouple Atheist friends here...
You need to respect others beliefs and I expect them to respect my beliefs...that is the only answer here...Peace

I think that whatever you belive in you should be proud of. And for the moron who said us Christians belive in three Gods... Know what the Hell you are talking about. God, the Holy Spirt and Jesus Christ are all the same thing.....Know the Religion you are blasting people!

I agree with you...I do believe there is one God...yet, he may go by different names, have different stories, and be painted differently in our minds.
Why do people put God in a box, and limited what he can or can't do...why can't the God of my life...be the same God that the native Americans may have prayed to...we just have a different name.
I believe people will be very surprised if they go to heaven, to find people of different faiths and beliefs there beside them...likewise, like you said...I believe many people who go to church and are self-righteous will be surprised to find out that they do not go to heaven because they were not good people...they can go to church all they want...but, if they are not truly a good person, I don't believe any God will have anything to do with them.

Hello and your confused, real faith is never blind, now assumption is indeed blind, by the way The Holy Bible with being written over a 1500 year period by 44 authors and yet it does not disagree, with prophecy the bible has more then enough proof of its inspiration, with this out of the way, god with a little g in scripture ALWAYS the name given to the devil the "G" for God is always for either God The Father, God The Son or God The Holy Spirit, as far as what one believes, satan himself believes in God in James 2:19 says satan believes and trembles, one must BE-LIVE and in Hebrews 1:5-9, 13:8, John 1 we understand Jesus is indeed God and there are three members of The Godhead but ONE GOD, see 1 Cor. 8:6 But to us [there is but] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom [are] all things, and we by him.

Stop with the question marks already. You're going to give us all seizures.
Also, FYI, all faith is blind by definition. Otherwise it wouldn't be faith. If you have logical facts about something then you don't need faith to believe it.
I suggest you buy a dictionary and cut down your usage of punctuation.

Last time I checked, atheists were proud to be called atheists. No body goes around flaunting how they are not a doctor.
And what are you talking about different gods? Christians have three different gods. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
