When we seek Him in word and prayer we do-- when we are relying on His Holy Spirit to teach us.
But we cannot learn about the Lord without ever reading the Bible- for it is HIS word, God breathed as Timothy says.
In Bible study we learn more- He teaches us through His Holy Spirit.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight"
AMEN!

That depends on who your lord is. Mine is the menacing Lord Vader. So yes I study him quite often, this weekend some actually.

Because Jesus ceased teaching shortly after returning to heaven all my learning comes by way of The Spirit of truth. The only people to learn anything directly from Jesus were those people who heard Him speak. Jesus was the Light of the world while He was in the world, not now. He turned over His ministry of reconciliation to The Holy Spirit. She is the one Jesus told us would reveal all truth.

Yes, I learn that it is less and less likely that this "Lord" exists.
