Sounds like she is doing what she is supposed to be doing. If your cat keeps moving her kittens then something is bothering her or her kittens....hate to say it, but it is probably you. Cat's don't like people, not even the people they love and trust, to handle their kittens.

Try leaving her alone and not being around the kittens for a day and see if she puts them all back together. If not, put everyone in a box and go to the vet. The one kitten might be dying of something.

Newborns are very susceptible and her instincts are to guard them. She ate her lifeless kitten for the same reason she moved her kittens and for the same reason she ate the placenta and wiped clean them. that's all approximately scent, that may entice preditors. this is why she licks each and all of the blood off of them. this is why she moved them to a "clean" region (fairly than the only that still smells of the delivery). And, this is why she ate the lifeless kitten. with the aid of fact lifeless kittens rot. of course, she would not understand any of this. She's performing from instinct, no longer reasoning. additionally, birthing takes plenty out of them, and all of it truly is extremely nutritious.
