an ex got back in touch recently, and wanted to chat. He didn´t give me much time to make other arrangements so I couldn´t meet him as I had to go to work. I haven´t heard from him since, even though I have sent him a message to say that my reason was geuine, and that I would have met him if I wasn´t at work.
I really feel that he has taken the mickey out of me again, and seems to be dangling a carrot, then taking it away.
Should i call him and tell him that I think that he is being unreasonable and that i don´t appreciate the way that he keeps playing with my feelings or should i just leave it and walk away. I think that he should know that he is hurting me again, and that i don´t like it.
What do you guys reckon?

You've explained your behaviour as a result of his short notice request. Your conscience is clear. If he has a problem with that you don't need this sort of sillyness so walk away.
It may be that he hasn't got back to you because the reason he wanted to chat may have disappeared. In which case, you can forget about it.
If he does get back to you (he may be busy too) then deal with it then.
I'd just say don't worry about it and there's no need for you to go chasing after him. This is especially true if he is hurting you. Move on.

you are so right ,he is dangling the carrot, and well an truly taking the mickey,he will know that he,s hurting you,he just wants someone to keep falling back on,and thats you love, just walk away,if he texts you, don,t reply, that way he,ll know your not a softy anymore, and your not having it.if a guy thought anything about you at all, he would,nt do that, have a good time an enjoy yourself, you only get one shot at it.

i think you should leave it if he hasnt got back in touch then why should you, he could well have been trying to get you to meet him as a 'time waster' just expecting you to be there, he could well be genuine but only time will tell. it depends why hes your ex in the first place really, take that into account before jumping to conclusions. i would personally wait and see if he phones you back.

You shouldn't stress over a guy that has already hurt you..if he is really worth it he will come to you! if not then he was just a loser like most other jerks are! Don't stress Hun , there are plenty fish in the sea!

Yes you shoul because to me honesty means everything and if you tell him how you feel your realitionship might get bigger or both of you can work on your realationship together.
