LOL, I've seen the part of the landing ship on the moon with a friend's really powerful telescope but yet they still don't believe it. I know a guy that thinks there is a asteroid belt between the earth and the moon and that's his basis for his disbelief.

First of all, the political climate at the time was that the US and Russia were in a race to see who could get there first and Kennedy had made a promise that we would walk on the moon by a certain time. That's why a lot of people think the US orchestrated this hoax resulting from the pressure of the Cold War. There's a lot of "evidence" they give, including:
-There's no stars in the photos
-The flag is waving even though there wouldn't be wind on the moon
-There's some type of a radioactive belt that no human could survive past
-There's no blast crater around the lunar lander
-The pictures are too clear
-Testimony from "insiders"

...and there's more. It's a lot of crap, in my humble opinion.

The same way some people don't believe in Global warming, or the Nazi concentration camps!

And I have heard no one say 9/11 didn't happen! It did! Just not the way the government would have you believe!

They will have more credibility in my book when they can produce 1 (one) photograph of a 757-200 which is 1/2 a football field long and weighs 100 tons.

I have been waiting for 5 years for the FBI to release one, after all, they confiscated all the tape and made it Top Secret. How can a photograph of a 757 be Top Secret?

Yeah they shot the whole thing at a studio.. Right? Wrong this actually happened. People should watch the movie Apollo 13 it was real, these guys were set to land on the moon but things went way wrong and one of the greatest events in human history happened, these Men made it back to tell the story.

Well, the US never landed on the moon! Individuals did. OK, so "Uncle Sam" funded the "insanity".. But there will always be people on this planet that eighter just say they dont belive in it to straight out, just to piss you off! Maybe a tiny micro percentage saying it out in total seriousness.. (mentally reduced ppl?) Despite the obvious benefits off the space programs world wide.. I still must ask the question if the benefits can defend other more "ball squeezing" matters in (when you mention it...) the US... Are your priorities right? OK, I'm not gonna rip up in your current oil-war.. hm hm.. sorry, war on terror.. But I've visited the US and seen it with my own eyes, people that almost have to "eat their own children" to survive.. Is really not trying to solve problems like starvation, poverty, unemployment and providing propper health care more important than realizing some mad scientists dream to be sending people to the moon and what not? I'm just asking myself how the US can afford a space program, when there are millions off homeless people living there. Was it they who got stuck with the bill? If yes, then WHY?

They are simple minded, anti Americans. They are the people who don't like the Fact that we are indeed a great country.
We did land on the moon and there is extreme evidence. The film then was in the 1960's and so it may look fake but it is harder making film look fake that is old.

It's like the old story of the boy who cried "wolf". The government has lied to us so many times, some people have become skeptical of everything. I haven't quite gotten to that point yet, but I'm skeptical of every word that comes out of Bush's mouth. Personally, I don't think it was a hoax, but I understand why some people think so.

The reason I have doubt is they have not returned to the moon since 1969. I once saw a show giving different interesting facts supporting why people thought the moon landing was a hoax. I think it was on Public T.V.

The same people don't believe the Holocaust happened, or that George Bush won the presidency, or that terrorist destroyed the twin towers.

Conspiracy Theorists are morons. simple as that.

Many of them I believe are like trolls. they don't beileve in what they say either, they just say it stir trouble and get you riled up. the rest really do believe in their ignorance.

Don C. you are a joke. You are trying to lump opposing crowds together.

It is a fact that Saddam did have WMD's. perhaps he got rid of them, perhaps he hid them. but he was supposed to allow inspectors to VERIFY that he got rid of them. he didn't. so he violated UN resolutions
