My mom, and my husband.
My mom, because she managed to raise four decent kids despite my dad being ill throughout most of their thirty-four year marriage (he had his first heart attack in 1968 at the age of thirty-four, but didn't pass away until 1991, when I was ten). She also put her own grief on the back burner so that she could finish raising us. On top of all that, she is a strong, kind, generous, and intelligent Christian woman. Plus, she was very sweet and understanding when I was an atheist, and then when I was Wiccan. And she's my best friend to this day.
My husband is my hero too...awww...he's a soldier in the US Army, and has such strength, and intelligence. He's also a very kind person, with a fantastic sense of humor.
Your grandfather sounds like he was wonderful...I'm sorry for your loss, and I'll keep your whole family in my prayers.

My hero is James herriot, who wrote " All creatures Great and small". He was always humble, yet he could be strong in situations in which a firm stand was required. He has helped countless animals over a career spanning 50 years. I believe a person who can devote his whole life to treating animals is god's chosen one. To help creatures who do not have any kind of support system or standing in this world is truly divine. It shows the cleanliness of the heart. He was a true family man, joined the RAF when the war broke out, and did his best to serve his country. GOD Bless Him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hay let me tell you of MY hero, now follow close, He is described of all places in The Holy Bible, in Hebrews1:5-9 He is said of The Father to be God, and in Heb.13:8 He has always been from all of time past and all of time to come, His name is JESUS CHIRST, The Second member of The Godhead and PLEASE let me tell you Why, when in John 1 He is described as the one who was the member of The Godhead that created this world, so when Mankind sinned in Genesis 3, it was Jesus that in verse 15 told of Himself and someday He would come to this world and destroy the work of the devil, in Isaiah 14:12-15 we notice satan has/had a "i" problem, in Isa.53 we see my hero has just the opposite, in fact when my hero came to earth in Isa. 53:2 He took for Himself a regular body but when He went back to Heaven He did not put of that human body WITH the scares He got while Here, HE is going to keep that JUST FOR ME, FOREVER you see let me show you something and read every word in
1 John 2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed [himself] to him that judgeth righteously:
2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
WOW such love, how could i "ever" want another hero, find out He will keep those stripes He took MY stripes FOREVER, JUST FOR ME, find me another hero that measures up to Him, free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org email not messenger me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

If I were to have heroes (note the spelling) they would be such people as Andrew Newberg and Jacques Barzun.

Your grandfather no longer needs our prayers...but, I will remember you and your family in your loss.
I would also say my Grandmother...she overcame great odds and still became a great person, and never lost sight of goodness.
