Yes, I've seen that and it would look better on both, even if it's just a forearm, half sleeve, on the other.
You're gonna get so tired of answering the same question
over and over........."hey, when are you gonna get the other
side done......."
and I think you know not to listen to the irritating butt heads

Hard call. A woman in my gf's dance class has one arm done, and is just now getting work started on the other. Thing is, the one arm looked great, done by same artist as whom I go to.
For themed pieces, maybe. I think I'd have to take it on a case-by-case basis.
The work on my left arm only goes down to the t-shirt line (quarter sleeve?), whereas it stops before the shoulder on my right. I often like a lack of bilateral symmetry; if I get more done on the right, it's only due to me wanting more as opposed to any discontent with the work. The art certainly doesn't require for it.
We're kind of hard-coded to prefer such symmetry - healthy examples of most species display such - so there's bound to be a bit of subconscious bias.

It may look slightly off balance with one full sleeve and nothing on the other arm. You can always add one or two pieces to the other arm, but you don't need to get another full sleeve to achieve "balance". You're the one who gets to live with your skin art, so do what makes you happy.

NO NO NO, hijab covers a woman's brain and alters her ability to function. Why would such a scientifically and logically attached religion create such a stupid piece of clothing? I am a devout Muslim, also I have studied comparative religions and am an ex-atheist. The hijab is nothing but a cultural icon in my opinion. God (Allah), does mention the hijab in the quran but not as its meaning today. It meant something else, I'm just not willing to go through all that this moment. Please use your logic, why would God, being the most merciful and forgiving, put someone to hell for such a ridiculous reason. Treat others the way you want to be treated, worship and submit your will to Allah, and there you have it, you're a Muslim Good day.

I love the sleeve tattoos either on both arms or on one arm. I don't think that one full sleeve tattoo looks unbalanced or anything. On most guys one arm tattooed is sexy.

no, i have seen over two hundred thousand people with only one arm sleeved out, they don't look off balance. here's an example....are you off balance if you have a single small tattoo on your right forearm and none on your left?
tattoos are an expression of art, life, and beauty. just pick the right one and you'll be fine.

My ex had only one sleeve and I liked the way it looked with just one! it looks sexy either way. don't feel obligated to get random stuff on your other arm to be 'balanced'

Well... being in the industry where the norm is the heavily tattooed, I'm inclined to say yes. However, love the art, don't worry so much about being off balance. Please yourself. Personally I think people look naked without tattoos. lol

lmao...my daughter's piercer girl only has one arm done, it looks way cool and think she would look off balance if the other one was done too...either that, or she would look like a whole field of wild flowers.
