I have a friend who only had 2 boyfriends and went 4 years with out one so when she called to say "I have a boyfriend" my reaction was like "yeah right" but she did... maybe that is the case here. I am sure it was not a malicious disbelief.

Because her friend think that she isn't capable of getting a boyfriend because she has stayed single for a while but don't worry about what here friend thinks just continue with your lives

This question does not have a good answer. It could be any reason from that she's extra picky, or maybe guys do not normally ask her out. Maybe you should ask your girlfriend why her friend said that.

Why would someone say that?
Maybe her friend doesnt believe that she has a bofriend because shes never had one....
She could have told you that to make you believe that she hasn't been around....
I dont know my best bet would be to ask her friend or her!

im a girl myself, and if i didnt believe my friend about something like this, it would be for two reasons. 1) she is kinda dishonest, or very sarcastic. or 2) she just got back from a bad relationship and i cant believe she got over it so easily. hope this helps...

well, maybe her friend didnt think she was serious. maybe your girlfriends last relationship didnt last very long or they broke up right away and her friend thought that she was getting into a relationship too fast.

maybe her friend is jealous of her, that's probly the case unless she has another reason to not believe her. talk to her and see y. then talk to your GF about the problem. good luck! =)
