I don't know you but I do know you've been lied to and you believed it. Gullible, and ignorant are traits I associate with most Christians... mentally ill and delusional are others. I would need more information on you before "figuring you out".

Christianity is mythology. Read/study your bible with open eyes - how can you deny it's contradictions, propensity for violence and intolerance?

You telling us you're a Christian doesn't really tell us a thing about you. The only thing I gather from your question is that you seem to have a chip on your shoulder by assuming that everyone has a general idea of what every Christian is like. Dare I be so bold as to guess that you are approving of many people that call them Christians? If so, then you need to rethink what makes one a good person in general before you flaunt inclusion into your religious belief system.

I don't judge books by their covers.

Now I can draw a safe conclusion you have a misguided thought process but you can prove me wrong and you will get brownie points and more respect than the average Christian.

I don't know you as a person and that is what you are truly judged by in my book. You could be a rapist, a murder, a hypocrite, etc... you could also be like mother Theresa.

Morally I cannot know you but intellectually I can gather a reasonable conclusion although temporary until proven.

I'd need to know a lot more about you than that statement. When you say "Christian", what exactly do you mean by that? Do you believe the bible is the infallible word of God or do you believe that there are some fallacies, myths, and fiction to it? Do you believe that it should be understood literally or are there some figurative passages there?
What are your beliefs about Jesus? Mary? the "old testament" laws?
I'd have a ton of questions if you wanted to have a dialogue on it.

Anyone with an ounce of maturity would say that you cannot draw a conclusion about someone only knowing one thing about them. I know you are a Christian because you said so...but I know nothing else about you....I would never presume to say I've got you figured out....Hell, I don't even have my husband "figured out" and I've been married to him for over 30 years LOL! You're probably a very nice person...

I am a Christian too...

It is not my place to judge your heart.

Yes, there are myriads of Christians.

I am upset that the fundamentalists have co-opted the term to mean, only those that believe as they do. They have tarnished the word so badly, and have turned so many people away from God with their rhetoric and hate-filled speech.

Because of the fundamentalists, the word Christian has a bad connotationi for many people.

Good for you. I draw no conclusions about you, it would depend on when I met you what I thought of you. I don't think that 'labels' necessarily define a person - there are so many facets to a persons personality. I am not religious myself. That does not necessarily mean that I have no spirituality. I often hope that people don't judge me when they hear this. Each person's religion and any choices they make in their life are up to them. I think the most important thing is that people are good and kind to one another.

I'm a Christian, but I don't advertise it, as the word has taken on an ugly connotation in recent years. Nowadays, when people hear the word "christian", it stirs up images of bible-thumping, intolerance, hypocrisy and narrow-mindedness. I'm not that kind of Christian, and it horrifies me to see all the hatred that some people who call themselves 'christian' harbor toward others who don't have the same belief system that they do.

I need to know exactly what you believe about Jesus Christ, the Resurrection, the Holy Spirit, how you can become saved, and if you've repented of your sins and acceptd Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior before I can judge you.

There are many people who claim to be Christians, but aren't truly saved. I repented of my sins and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was five. I understood what the Bible said and I was ready to accept Jesus Christ into my life. I know that I'm a true Christian and that I'm going to hevaen after I die.

If you're a true Christian, then I'll see you in heaven.

If you are indeed a Christian, more power to you! Praise the Lord. What I think about it really doesn't matter except for the fact that there is one person who is talking, walking, acting (doing) the things that Jesus did. That's what a Christian is - a person who is CHRIST-like. That's the only definition of a Christian - and there are people who 'say' they are, but are not Christlike.
