Why are you assuming that everyone who believes in evolution is an Atheist? In fact most people in the united states who believe in evolution are Christians.
As for me (who just so happens to be an Atheist who believes in evolution) the answer is no. Firstly, calling it a theory doesn’t make it one and secondly, I believe in evolution because of all the evidence. The part about the EVIDENCE is a key point here.

I need to seek the truth. Just calling it the theory of God, doesnt make it any more true. I would need to know things like where god is, what he is made of. I need to know how he can be both omnipresent and omnipotent while being a seperate entity at the same time.

I've long accepted both God and evolution, without needing to rename the former. An "evolutionist" is not the same thing as an atheist.

God cannot possibly made into a theory since you'd never come up with the evidence needed to support your claim.

You are way behind the curve..the Theory of God is called theology and it's in the philosophy building with the other theories without proofs.

If this "theory" were supported by scientific data and research, then yes, I might see myself paying it some serious attention. But it's not supported by science and research. It's a story.
I just find it incredible that people who don't believe in evolution will grasp at ANYTHING to prove they are right. It's great to believe in something spiritual, and I wish everybody turned to some form of positive spirituality, but denying evolution in favour of a story? I can't abide by it.

No, theories are backed up by scientific facts and significant research. There is no proof of God. The bible is not scientific proof.
I'm not saying there's not a god but we have yet to see actual, documented, scientific proof of one.

No, because you would not be using the scientific meaning of the word "Theory".
1 : the analysis of a set of facts in their relation to one another
2 : abstract thought : SPECULATION
Science uses definition one of the word theory, and religionists use definition two.

Nope. Because you are meaning guess. You are not meaning scientific theory which is the body of factual work pertaining to a subject. God is not based on fact.
Nice try, no fly.
