It's not really indecent since the person doesn't see you but can't you do your business before or after calling family and friends ?

Or if the urge happen while you are already on line with someone, I would find it preferable that the person tried later to call me back and I would say so.

The bathroom is the only room my kids don't follow me into so the indecency of using the bathroom while on the phone is superseded by the relative quiet and privacy factor!

Ick. Do you have to go that bad that you can't wait until the conversation is over? The person on the other end of the call may feel a little disrespected. I would feel like it wasn't important enough to take 5 (10, 20, etc.) minutes to have an undistracted conversation with me.

Not in the least as long as you don't make any disgusting sounds while on the telephone. I do this all the time while I'm on the phone with my sister, and she doesn't know until I flush the toilet. I wouldn't do it with a co-worker or prospective lover, so discretion rules the day again.

It depends on who you're talking to, and your relationship with them. All in all though, it IS considered to be indecent, because you aren't showing respect to the person with whom you are in conversation with. Just imagine talking to a person and picking your nose or farting right infront of them. It's just something you cannot and should not do. It's morally incorrect. Just because your family and friends cannot see you, it does not mean you aren't in conversation with them. Talking to them on the phone is exactly like talking to them face to face.

I talk to my friend all the time while I am going to the bathroom. But it's usually because I am already talking on the phone and I have to go and I don't want to get off the phone.

I'm always the victim of this act. I'll be having a nice conversation and hear the toilet flush. Ick!!! I just couldn't do it, I'd tell the person I have to call them back or something.

I cant see this being in moral, maybe possibly rude. But how will anyone know you are on a toilet unless you tell them. Besides when you have to go you have to go. More people do it then they want to admit.

Well, I don't know where morals come into play, lol....I do tend to think it is a bit indecent and un-classy, but nothing to lose a friend over...do as you wish..hahaha
