Watching on the Discovery channel last night pumping tons of emissions may be the least of our worries. If a Star Exploded in our Milkyway Gamma Rays Could wipe us out in less that 30 days. Of if a supervolcano such as in the area of Yellowstone National park were to Erupt it could start a globe winter and cause 8 foot of ash in Rapid City North Dakota. Or a Roving Black hole could swing by and suck us in. Yes poluting cars are for sure a bad thing but there are much worse things looming on the horizon...

Definitely. Just depends on whether it kills the ozone(wrong wording, but more effective). I mean, if you just pump a heck of a lot of carbon dioxide, not much'll happen to the OZONE. Different than pumping a bunch of CFCs.

Any of the pollution is much too heavy to affect the ozone layer. Most of what u are talking about is CO2 and is very heavy so it will go up only a few feet in atmosphere. The ozone layer is about 50 miles up . Look at the weight if the gases . The CFC was too heavy to get there it was another scam.

Are you getting at that Global Warming is man made?
If so, you are sadly mistaken. It's the Earths Natural Cycle.
Otherwise I think pollution is bad, but we are making efforts around the world to curve our actions, and new methods are being developed everyday for better waste disposal and recycling, even though recycling has been proven to put more emissions into the environment then the process of making new products.

Do you believe I can take a piss in the ocean off a pier in New Jersey and pollute a beach in Japan?
The amount we put into the atmosphere is such a tiny, tiny percent of the whole it's a non-issue.

As long as the gases are not ozone depleting ones.

That's been proven already. Don't expect Earth's lemmings to do anything about it.
