For two nights in a row now I have had this dream that I am trying to escape explosions - I am always with someone that I am trying to stay with - the fist one was explosions and the second one I was in my neighborhood trying to avoid missiles that we coming down and exploding....
Any ideas on what these dreams could mean?

You seem to be afraid of outside situations you cannot control. There clearly is something going on in your life that you cannot control, and you really want to avoid, but it is coming down on you anyway, and you have to make split second decisions without the security of having enough information to make what you believe is the right choice. And no matter what choice or decision you make, the problems keep coming at you faster than you can make decisions.
You might want to look into the sources of these constant problems. If you don't know where the bombs are coming from in your dream, it means you don't know where these problems are coming from in your life. By finding out the sources of these 'life bombs', you'll be able to change something and stop the bombing.

i would stay away from looking up the meanings, i use to be addicted to a dream book i had and most things the book told me about them came true, i finally thru the book away. i am now leading a much happier life not knowing, although i still have some of the interpretations embedded in my head. the explosions one is one i have a lot but i won't get into the meaning. good luck :)
