I am a woman and I got caught cheating last week. My man went through my phone and saw some bogus text messages. Although I am wrong for what I did, my man's and I relationship has been screwed up for years, and he's played me so bogus in the past. I cheated because another man made me feel more special than my own man has. I know it sounds dumb and nieve, but it's the truth. I know me and my man shouldn't even be together but I guess love and our child has kept us together. My man is going crazy since he found out. He won't sleep ir eat. He thinks the worse of me. I fear he will never trust me again. Do you think we can ever work things out? Is it worth it to try for the sake of our family. I know I was wrong so please spare me the insults. There are two sides to this story and he is by no means an angel. Please give me any good advice on what I should do now. I want things to go back to normal. Thanks.

It was not worth it. My man ended up calling the guy to confront him. The guy came clean and told him that we were "feeling" eachother. He also told my man that we had "been" together.

Ok, CSS Rocks, sounds like you have issues yourself sweetie. How did you turn this into something racial? When I use the word bogus as a slang word menaingI wrong. I am pretty sure that I am far more educated than you with the way you throw your ignorance into your stupid response.

we all make mistakes, getting over them, learning from them and moving on is the key,now that this involves your man,you promising him never to let it happen again, sticking with your promise, hopefully he can overlook it and go on with you,and the two of you being completely true to each otherfrom now on.best of lucks in your relationship....

No excuse for cheating. I dont care if your relationship was screwed up or not. If your relationship was so bad you should have at least divorced or something first (which I believe is still wrong) but at least you wouldnt be sneaking around cheating on your husband! I belive there are two sides to each story but i still think you have no excuse to cheat. I think you posted this just hoping people would tell you that it was all his fault and that you didnt do anything wrong. If you want things to go back to normal then seek marriage counseling and STOP CHEATING

I have been in your shoes! Don't stay just because of the child. Do what makes you happy and if being with your current man doesn't then don't. Life is too short and you should live it to the fullest. Girl, I truly wigh you all the best. I know you want things to be back to normal but they may never be.

instead of cheating because things are bad leaving is the right option its best for you both and your child...the other man made you feel special but that was sex. you cant expect to cheat and then not face the consequences...trust is the biggest issue in a relationship once its lost its hard to get back that easily.

Ask his forgiveness, and then forgive yourself. If he won't, and it is his decision, there is nothing you can do except live with him as is, or leave. You both sound like you need counseling and that can help, or at least it can make it clear that it can't be fixed and you should leave.

ok yes your going to want it work because of the sake of your child. plus you love him. try and work things out. don't let ur child see you guys fighting. no child likes to see that. just try to let him see where ur coming from on it though. if he did the same to you then he should be able to forgive you because i'm sure you forgave him.

I don't think things in this relationship were ever "normal".
You need something solid and good in your life...you would not have done what you did if you had the real deal in the first place.
Good Luck!
