Como se entiende el concepto de un ser infinitamente misericordioso y de un lugar de castigo eterno al mismo tiempo?

Hey I'm gonna respond on Spanish ok.

Your question is, "As the concept is understood of an infinitely merciful being and of a place of eternal punishment at the same time?" right?

In other words, how can God be merciful yet send people to hell?

Well, God gives people their entire lifetime to repent and turn towards Him, excepting Him as Lord of their life. However, some people refuse this and they die in their sins. As a result, they are eternally separated from God.

god is not eternally merciful, he is merciful to a point. that point is death. We choose in our lifetimes whether to follow God or not and if we choose not to then the punishment is what we've decided on. God does decide for us to go to Hell, he gives us the options and we choose ourselves.

Ignore the fools who say you have to learn English to be in the USA. that's foolishness. America has no official language, and while it is beneficial to learn English because it's the majority language it is by no means necessary.

Okay....I need subtitles here.....

I really want to answer this

Thank you Glitterkitty:

Answer: He is just...and commands perfection.....which Christ gave to Him so that you and I could go into the Father's presence someday.

We will someday put on perfection because Christ was perfect.

In answer to your question, How can God be just. How can He not be just, as some people live a life according to His will, and some mock and reject Him? Why should He when He calls to you to revere Him, and you mock and reject Him, be merciful to you?

no comprende. if "glitterkitty" 's translation was correct, then it's like this

- God cannot have sin in His presense
- God made us beings, and beings have a last state
- you die in sin, your last state is sinfulness
- therefore you cannot be with God
- God's presense doesn't reside in Hell
- God's presense is what keeps Heaven Good
- no presense, no Goodness

understand now?

The answer is:
He can't.
Either He is merciful, or He burns people in hell.
I recommend merciful because there is no fire in hell.
That idea is a lie.
