First qualify yourself. He is not in your command.
God says in Bhagavad gita:
"I am never manifest to the foolish and unintelligent. For them I am covered by My internal potency, and therefore they do not know that I am unborn and infallible."

What will seeing Him accomplish?
A few centuries back they saw His son ....ended-up murdering him.
Seeing is not believing.
God gave us a brain, with which we can (if we make the effort) reason.
Reasoning is what helps a person become a beleiver.

I'm not God, but one of his children. I've never seen him, but I know he's there because he lives in my heart. Remember thou shalt not tempt the Lord your God.

God is not flesh, but spirit, therefore you cannot "see" him, if you pray, you will hear the answer in your heart and mind.
