Examples of analogies would be an apple, an egg, or water. Water (H2O) why? Water is 100% H2O in the different forms of vapor, solid, liquid. Each serves a purpose and use, but all are water. Not equal in the use or purpose, yet all forms being 100% the same chemical make up, the same water. God is the same in all forms as being God, yet they are all different in their beings, uses and purposes.

I believe there is God, the eternal father, His son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. Three individuals working as one toward the same goals and ideals.

Here is a great way to understand this. My priest gave this explanation two weeks ago during his homily. When it comes to the Trinity, God the Father, The Son and The holy spirit.
God the Father is the lover, God the Son is the beloved and God the Holy Spirit is the love between the Father and Son.
Lover+ Love=Beloved. You can not have one without the other. Hence, the Trinity exists because God equals all three.
The Pope declared an infalliable document when he first became Pope. God is Love. So through that you can see how the equation works.

I maintain that the Water analogy is the best, most complete way to understand the trinity. I've heard that the Trinity is like the parts of a flower but that's not true, because each part of a flower is not a flower itself. Each point of the Trinity is equally God, not just 1/3 of God.

I have a page on my website that is about that... it is not that long a read... here is the link... http://user1292138.sites.myregisteredsite.com/mikesinternetoutreach/id36.html
there is more debate on The Trinity than there should be... it is a very simple thing... God, The Son, The Holy Ghost(Spirit)
that makes three... a Trinity.

I understand the analogy, but one (H2O) is a scientific fact, the other (Trinity) is part of a belief system based on faith. On is not consistent with the other.

The Holy Spirit warns you to stop spreading lies about Her and Jesus. She says that Jesus told you the true account of creation in The Apocryphon of John, not Genesis. she is never happy with people who cannot tell good from evil.

Sorry, but that's just silly! God is our creator, He created Jesus (peace be upon him) as a human being. Jesus (pbuh) was a great prophet of God, but he was not God.
