you do not have to be in pain if he knows what he is doing.Have you heard of KY jelly?Incorporate it into your session..he has to be willing and able to perform oral in order to get you into such heavenly bliss that even if there is pain it should only be fleeting and sweet. Thanks for waiting till you were able to control when and how to do it.We are all cheering for you

There's a membrane of skin that partly covers the opening to the vagina in a virgin, and on first penetration that membrane has to break and it'll also bleed. However, it's unusual for it to be *very* painful - actually, quite a lot of young women have already broken or part-broken it if they use tampons, have done a lot of exercise like horse-riding, etc., or gone in for some heavy petting.

You need to tell your b/f that you're a virgin (he should feel rather special that you haven't slept around) and ask him to take things gently ... lots of foreplay, make sure that you're properly lubricated (you ought to manage this for yourself but have some K-Y jelly on hand just to be certain) and take your time. (That advice might be difficult to follow!!).

The stories about lots of pain and bleeding tend to date from the times when men didn't know much (or maybe care much) about women's bodies and what helped them enjoy sex, and so they ploughed right in without making sure that the woman was ready. Relax, and remember that you're making love ... the key word being 'love' ... and that the best sex happens when you have something to say to each other.

Have a wonderful time and a happy and loving life.

If you are 19, why don't you know what occurs when a woman loses her virginity? If the hymen hasn't already been broken, when it is there may be some minor bleeding/spotting. Some experience pain, some minor discomfort, some don't hurt at all.

Depends on the individual...and bear in mind if it was THAT horrid, people wouldn't keep doing it. Y'know?

Some countries/cultures do this barbaric thing where they take a girl, around eight, and cut her up on the inside, then sew her up so the sides heal together. This way her husband both knows she's a virgin, and has the pleasure of ripping her open on their wedding night. After she gives birth, she is sometimes cut up like with a cheese grater or broken glass and sewn up again so the husband can have the pleasure again. This is a cultural thing, usually tribal in African nations, and isn't necessarily Muslim. Islam does practice female circumcision, which varies in degree, but basically knicks or scars the clitoris so that the woman cannot orgasm, making her less likely to be unfaithful. They also believe, men and women alike, that an uncircumcised woman is unclean. But the degree of female genital mutilation to which you refer isn't exclusive to Islam.

Not true for every woman. Some have pain as the hymen is broken and also have some spotting.
Some experience no pain or bleeding at all.

my best friend told me that she was in some pain and she had some blood. the thing i hear most is that it depends on how hard he does it and how lubricated u are. i'm a virgin too so i don't know from personal experience. remember this though if it hurts too much or if u feel any sense of not wanting to then back out before its too late

Some women, yes. Some women, no. I had no pain or blood, but all in all it was a rather dissappointing experience. I think men like to believe they are so huge they are going to hurt you in some way. You'll find a lot of "yes it hurt my girlfriend" from the guys.

Yes it is Very Painful when done for the first time! It's like obtaining ones freedom for the first time. Whether, you're being chased by a pack of dobermans, having to climb over a chain-linked fence, having to swim across a river full of crocodiles, having to fight a war against the British, or having to tunnel you way out of a Prisoner of War (POW) camp. It hurts like hell, but once you've obtained your freedom, (that is freedom from virginity), then it is the best thing in life that you can possibly imagine!!!!!!

Oh wait a minute. When I had sex for the first time it didn't hurt at all. In fact, it felt very good. Unless you consider my ego. Now my ego took a beating because I think I lasted, maybe 30 seconds (and that's being generous to myself).
