Yes of course.
However due to the fact that many older generations still aren't accepting and just some racists aren't accepting your life together will be harder. You must prepare for that and if you marry and have children sometimes they can have a hard life, sometimes not. Depends but if you love them then take the risk.
Sometimes there are cultural differences that make it fun and exciting to learn new things, but often a similar background makes it more likely that the relationship will sustain. With the divorce rate so high today that is important to consider.
But the truth is the next few generations will be very diverse.

Remember, the rule is, if you close your eyes and with your hands everything else feels just like you, then they are human being also. Todays world allows two people of the same sex for God's sake, what on earth would be the difference in skin color or ethnic origin. Both are capable of love and I do not know of any law that prohibits interracial relationships. The scruitiny of the society we live in might bring comments and opinions but last time i checked, love was much more valuable than the opinion of those hypocrites that think they decide about groups of people and how they should not intermix. Human beings are just that and it is not beastiality, obscene or wrong. You just have to be willing to weather the quips and barbs of those who would pass judgement and most of them are not able to have a relationship even with their own race and are just disgruntled themselves. Love is much more than the racial ramblings of those that are inept and disappointed in life. Do what you need to do if you are willing to put up with the small insignificant crap that will be dealt. I will not last long and will desipated as people gain acceptance of their ignorance.

Yes, if you truly love the person I dont see why skin color matters. My husband and I are inter racial (i'm white, he's half filipino) and my parents hate it but I have an incredibly happy marriage and I know that he is the one that was meant for me. Just because some people are rascist doesnt mean its wrong. Whats wrong is if you marry someone who is mean or has no morals

Seems to me its the older generation that mostly have the problems with it.
My mom and dad had a lot of probs because he's irish and back in the 50's, it wasnt the done thing.
Personally, I dont think the colour of someones skin matters a hoot.
Its whats inside the skin that makes the difference.

Yes, it is. The skin might be different but what makes up the body is the same i.e the cells, tissues, organs and organ systems are the same so there is no need to be scared. Also it would yield hybrid children when you copulate. A lot of people do it and still are doing it so you won't be a stranger.

Yes its ok whilst you are young but as you get older your differences come into play and things can become difficult. One has to adapt more than the other and its usually the female.

We're all made of flesh and blood. We all have feelings and worries and problems. I understand your question and concern but no matter what anyone else says, you have the right to choose whomever you wish to carry on in a relationship with.

I tend to believe that if you have to ask the question, you're probably not suited to the rigors associated with such a relationship. I am curious, however: what's your greatest fear where this issue is concerned?
