No, but I've been told by other Christians that I have a right to give my husband, who is agnostic, an ultimatum. I refuse to. I don't want to scare him off.

I would NEVER tell a Christian to divorce their non-Christian spouse!

Christians aren't supposed to marry atheists, but if they do or did before they were saved, they aren't to divorce. If the spouse is willing to stay, then the Christian needs to stay as a witness to the other.

no...if you married the atheist in the first place you made a choice...also it's written that for the sake of person their non christian spouse is "covered" under faith if you will....1 corinthians 7:13 or something or other

No! Paul specifically wrote that we aren't to marry unbelievers, but that if we are already married to one, we should pray for them, and perhaps they will be saved through our witness.

Divorce is only an option in the case of infidelity. That's according to the words of Jesus Christ Himself. If someone is encouraging you to divorce your spouse because they are atheist, you are not getting Godly counsel.

No, God says " be not unequally yolked" , He has a way of removing the unbelieving one and sanctifying the believer unto Himself. God makes every crooked path straight .
