I need some wedding invitations for a beach wedding!!! Some of the sites I looked at the invitations are 100 bucks and that doesn't include anything else, like reply cards!!
I just want some cute invitations, beach theemed, sea shells, sunset, something like that, but not paying 200 bucks for 30 invites. Can anyone help me, I would APPRECIATE IT!!!!

Hey! Another Beach Themed wedding person here. Check these out:

They are send and seal invitations that you mail the whole invitation with no envelopes. The RSVP cards tear off and mail like postcards. Plus, this place will let you choose the ink color, they print them up for you...and they end up being about 1.25 per invitation.

You can get some pretty decent invitations at craft stores or even wal mart and no one would know the difference if you did them correctly.

Favors are for all the guests at the reception they can be something like pieces of chocolate with custom made wrappers, candles with your new monogram, bottles of water with a picture of you two and your wedding date, fans would be nice since it is a beach theme, or maybe you could find beach towels at a reasonable price especially if there is only 30 people.

Gifts are for the people in the wedding party, or anyone that helped with the wedding. Like parents, grandparents, master and mistress or ceremonies, the flower girl and ring bearers parents and so on.

If this is a beach wedding, casual invitations are perfect. Go to Michaels, Joanns, or Walmart and get the Wilton u-print invitations. Download the template, type your wording, and print them yourself. The kit includes the response card and envelopes, and are about $15 for 50 of them.

The rehearsal dinner is a completely separate invitation. Get them from the dollar store.

i dont know about the rehearsal dinner but as for invitations why not print your own!

find invitations you like that work in a printer and make your own! you can get gorgeous beach backgrounds with a velum layover that make them look really classy! then you can spend the extra money on something else! you can even get them from Target. ( i know the idea may sound cheap, but seriously, its something most people will throw out anyway once the wedding is over!)

just thought of something good!
get a pic of the two of you or something you feel symbolizes your love/wedding- have it printed on nice cardstock - you can do this a kinkos or staples, etc. it shouldnt be too much- then punch two holes at the top of each pic- with your printer, print your message on a piece of velum- its the nice paper you can see through- then attach the velum to the top of the cardstock with the photo with a ribbon through the two holes and tie! instant card! its personal and elegant! and inexpensive!

I saw invitation kits with palm trees on them at the local dept store. I am not sure, but I think it was target. 50 invites, with the reply cards for $24.99. I thought that was a good deal. You just word and print them yourself. They were cute and I was thinking why spend $200 on invites when these are just as cute.

You can print your own. go to staples or office max and you can find the print you own ones along with place cards, programs, thank you notes, everything and hey have different styles and look elegant! I know amazon has them too!

Yes you should send invitations to the rehearsal dinner. Great ideas for gifts go to wwwpersonalizationmall.com

Typically you get gifts for your bridal party (bridesmaids, groomsmen, maid of honor, best man, ring bearer, flower girl) but you also can (and not everyone does) get gifts for the parents and grandparents of the bride & groom

Try here. I used them years ago and they were absolutely gorgeous. Dont let the prices fool you, I am very picky, but had a budget to work within as well for my formal wedding. This place was just awesome. http://www.willowtreelane.com/Custom/Willow/Willow_Stationery.cfm

ETA: No need for invites to the rehearsal unless you want to do them. EVite is a great site for invites like this, you can add alot of details and everything and it updates and keeps track of everything for you. And best of all its FREE! No favors needed for the rehearsal dinner, but you do want to use the chance to give out your attendant and parent gifts.

I got my invitations on annsbridalbargains.com. They are called seal-n-sends. Everything is all on one piece, you fold it neatly over and secure with a cute seal and then they detach the bottom half which is the reply card and mail it back. I paid $96.00 for 100 with nothing else to buy to complete the invitation. Hope this helps
