It sounds like you are actuely aware that your friend is sailing into very, very dangerous waters. If she will not respond to you, please consider talking to her parents.
Although you may risk the friendship to do this, you may save your friend a lifetime of misery. You truly must ask yourself whether the life and health of your friend is TRULY important to you. I think you know the answer to that question.
Picture yourself as a mother. Imagine attending the funeral of your beloved daughter, who died from an accidental overdose or from using a drug she THOUGHT was "harmless" but that was actually deadly.
Imagine further, that you discovered that your daugher's friend was fully aware of her intentions, yet chose to say nothing. If your daughter died, do you suppose you might be dissapointed or even angry with her friend? I'm guessing that you would be VERY angry, and rightfully so.
Use your best judgement.
Best of luck,
~M~

Make sure she knows the consequences of what she is doing. I think, if you can't stop her, just let her know you'll be there for her. That's really the second best thing you can do for her (besides getting her treatment.) You could always talk to an adult, but I've done that before with some situations and it's ended up worse.
Don't let her influence you to start! What she is doing is WRONG!!!

Tell her not to get mixed up with drugs. They can ruin lives even if it's weed. She's asking for trouble with the law, her health or with her family. There's a reason why people tell you not to do drugs, because they know 1st hand the chaos that drugs can create in life. It's not fun to be an addict.

Your friend is fooling herself.
Does your friend read the newspaper? There have been a LOT of articles about kids dying from using drugs for 'fun'. Or from overusing drugs.
Let me tell you something I saw- Not in a newspaper or magazine, but in real life. There was this boy, only a little older than your friend is. He was wearing bluejeans and a button-up shirt. But there was no way he could have dressed himself. He was weak and shaky, and didn't seem aware of things around him. He had to be strapped to a chair so he could sit upright. And there was an IV in his arm. He was a drug addict.
Does your friend want that for herself?

Illegal drugs, whether prescribed for someone else or street drugs, regardless of class are illegal and very dangerous.
Your friend is walking a very dangerous path and could easily take you down the wrong road with her. Weed or not, she is going to seriously hurt herself.
If you like this friend, you need to talk with one of your parents and let them as adults step in and tell her parents. Otherwise, she could end up brain damaged or dead!!!

What are its short-term effects?
Short-term effects of marijuana include problems with memory and learning, distorted perception (sights, sounds, time, touch), trouble with thinking and problem solving, loss of motor coordination, increased heart rate, and anxiety. These effects are even greater when other drugs are mixed with marijuana.A user may also experience dry mouth and throat.
What are its long-term effects?
Marijuana smoke contains some of the same cancer-causing compounds as tobacco, sometimes in higher concentrations.Studies show that someone who smokes five joints per week may be taking in as many cancer-causing chemicals as someone who smokes a full pack of cigarettes every day.
