Aloe Vera Gel, Solar-Caine Sunburn Spray, Noxema Face Cream also helps. Another thing you can try is to put vinegar on it. I know it sounds weird, but it helps take out the sting of the sunburn.

our old standby has always been to place 1 part wine vinegar and one part cold water with ice cubes in it in a bowl, apply with a soft cloth by blotting (not wiping) it on the sunburn, It is VERY cold and will make you jump, but works to take the sting out and helps it heal faster. Otherwise, smother it in aloe (100% pure only) and avoid the sun. Next time use sunblock!!

baby wipes will cool it. For quick relief of sunburn pain, soak gauze pads or large cotton balls in a solution of 4-tablespoons baking soda mixed with 1-cup water & apply it to affected areas. mayonaise will relieve the pain & moisturize the skin. Or try using a little milk paste for soothing relief. Mix 1-part powdered milk with 2-parts water & add a pinch of salt. Dab it on the burn, the enzymes in the milk powder will help relieve the sunburn pain.Or try wet tea bags on the burn. try white or cider vinegar. Or use just plain cold yogurt which adds moisture, the coldness soothes, & rinse it off with cold water.

As soon as you get in from the sun, run a coldish bath and get in it as this will take the heat out of it, then get someone nice to rub after sun lotion on your back and if its bad, take some nurofen and dont forget to keep rubbing aftersun on your burn twice a day for a good few days to come.
Someone once told me that cuccumber was good to put on sunburn but i've never tried it myself

Cold Aloe Vera gel with lidocane. I put my aloe gel in the fridge to keep it cold. Plain yogurt works well too. Try to wear light colored clothing. Silk or satin helps to keep the pain down. Luke warm showers and swimming in a luke warm pool helps with the sting.

Make sure to apply sunscreen even if you still have the burn. Even if you're in the shade, you can get burnt.

get a bathtub full of the coldest water that comes out and put a whole box of family size lipton teabags in there and get in when the color of the water is very dark. stay in there as long as you possibly can. the tea herb is medicinal for outer skin. drink lots of room temperature water for best interior hydration. near where there is sunblock for sale there is a gel that says it's for sunburns. put that on at night.

It sounds insane and painful but it works! Take a vinegar bath.
soak brown paper bags with vinegar, get in as cool of a bath as can be tollerated and place the brown paper bags on your body. I can say this works better than any thing else! Follow up with aloe vera cream the has lidocain in it.

Vitamin E creams are supposed to be quite effective. Keep your fluids up too and stay inside for the rest of the summer. Oh, and don't do it again! Learn from your mistakes and realise your bathing limits.
