I adore both colors but I am very pale skinned and have blue eyes. I am afraid that if I go to bright that I will look wierd because of my skin. Im trying to hopefully decide to do some of my hair pink or all of it. I also have blonde hair that is to my shoulders that is layered with side swept bangs. PLEASE HELP

If you dont like pink hair dont say anything to me Hokai! I know some people dont like it but I do and it makes me happy so open your mind to people like me or be quiet.

My recommendation would be FIRST to go out and get a temporary dye to see which color would better suit you. They probably won't match exactly, but you should be able to find a light pink and a dark pink. Of course, dye light first then dark, or even do half and half. Use that to determine which might be best for you, then go get the permanent color.

Also, make sure it's what you do want. I've heard stories about how hard it is to get green/blue/pink remnants out of blonde hair, so realize that when you're done with the color, you will either have to further damage your hair to fix it (extreme bleaching with Colorfix), or cut it, or deal with some dingy color on your ends until it all falls(grows) out.

There is a place on the net that might be able to help you a LOT (I was there so much when I went blonde, but you see a lot of different types of questions and since you ARE blonde... ): http://www.goblonde.net/

There are people on there that are GODS in the forums, and your questions are answered VERY fast. Again, I know you aren't going blonde, but you can ask about the effects on your hair and get some top quality answers.

Good luck!

I would say to do hot pink, because the color may fade into light pink eventually. Depending on what color blonde you start out with will be the outcome of your pink.
