I told a guy friend that I had feelings for him as more than a friend and I did not expect anything in return. He replied by saying he was glad I told him and that he always has a great time with me. He added that he appreciates that we can be honest with each other. He has never told me how he feels about me and is against the long distance thing. I took it as a not interested and have tried moving on from it. However I find that hard to do when he contacts me 3 times a week. I don't know what to do.

If you can't be "just friends" with this guy, you need to tell him. Either he'll step up and become closer to you, or he'll stop communicating so frequently. He can't have it both ways, contacting you frequently just so you can stroke his ego. This is hard, Jen, because anytime we leave ourselves open to rejection, we have to be able to deal with the "no" It sounds like you're handling this perfectly, and he needs to respect that by backing off a bit.

Tell him to move closer so you guys can get together, or leave you alone.
