It depends on how deep a commitment you're making. Are you going to be more like roomies or closer to a married couple? Are you renting or are you buying a place together? Why are you moving in together? Is it because one of you thinks it will improve the relationship?

You should talk it out with the other person and find out what exactly their expectations are. If it feels like too much for you then it probably is.

Well that depends are you speaking of a roomate that you've met or realtionship wise.

For either situation when you both are comfortable should be a pretty good answer to go by. If there are any doubts (besides the normal getting nervous when moving out) then it should not be done yet. You'll know when the right time is!

Good luck!

That depends. I knew someone for 5 years before we moved in together. She was my BEST FRIEND. We had never fought, argued or anything. I thought everything was good, until 5 or 6 months down the road when she stole and lied to me. Bottom line is you have to make that decision. Just because you think you know someone, doesn't mean a whole lot. You really get to know that person when you move in, and it might not be what you expected.

I think that depends on the people. There isn't a set time for anybody, but I think that the sooner you move in together, the more possibility there is for conflict. Test it out slowly. Spend a couple nights a week at your significant other's place. It won't be the same as being together all the time, but it will give you a good chance to see how they are and to see if you could live together peacefully.

Never too soon if it feels right, me and my husband moved in together after 2 weeks and we are still together 10 years later with a seven year old boy. If it feels right - go for it.

I lived with my b/f before we starting going out. A week after moving in to student accommodation we started going.

We're both very easy going and have similar habits so living with him is so easy for me. It depends on those concerned if you or you partner are very different and expect different things chances are it's too soon.

But you never know it could be in five years time your as content as I am.

Well, my partner and I moved in together as soon as we became a couple.

That was 4 years ago :)
