I am not a normal person. I have cerebral palsy, but it isn't very severe. People just act like I am a friend, no one pays me any attention when it comes to relationships. I'm not very old, so I don't need a heavy relationship, but I would like some positive attention thrown my way. If I am as ugly as people act like i am, how do i get a positive vibe from society?

I know that it's easy to say that beautiful is a state of mind and much harder to acheive that state of mind, but it's true. I used to do some work at a university summer camp for kids with cerebral palsy. Some of them had very severe cases. Those kids were some of the most beautiful people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Most of them were determined that their "handicap" was not going to be a handicap in their lives. And their determination created their reality.
BTW, what's normal? We all have some kind of "issue." We're too old or too young, too fat or too skinny, too deaf or blind, or ignorant, or uneducated, have cancer, psoriasis, diabetes, bipolar disorder and on and on. No one is normal. If you think you're "not normal" that means that you must be abnormal which translates into not being correct, not okay, not good enough. Having cp, mild or otherwise, doesn't make you not okay. You are okay.
The best way of receiving a positive vibe is to put one out. What you send out is returned. Think negative and you'll create negative. Each of us is the result of our cumulative thoughts. And the people around you will be attracted or repelled by what you've created. So, with your thinking, create yourself in the same manner as that of the people you want around you. You're "not very old" so you have a lifetime to create what you want. But no matter how old you are it's never too late to start.

everything starts on the inside, sweetie. spend some time learning who you are. find the things you like about yourself and then build your life around them. that will give you the confidence you need to face the world with an open, proud heart.
i think most people have a lot of wonderful things about them, but if you don't show them to people how will they know?
as for the CP, i think people are afraid of the different sometimes. so just show them that you really aren't that different. i have a nephewe with CP and he's only 6, but i can tell he's going to have a tough life.
others will be more liekly to accept you when you accept yourself. if you are uncomfortable in your own skin, it shows.

You can be certain that I can relate in some ways with your problem. I find comedy and confidence works well for me. You know who you are. If you see yourself as beautiful so will everyone else. You might find that there are people wanting to start a relationship with you but do not have the courage to ask. When it is ready to happen you will find someone, or they might find you. Life is strange like that.

I guarantee you that if you carry yourself with confidence, the right person will find you irresistable. The people who you may think find you unattractive, might just be nervous about your condition. If it's purely a physical thing with them, you probably don't need them in your life anyway. Tell yourself how great and beautiful you are EVERY day. Eventually, somebody smart will worship the ground you walk on :)

U must not take these things 2 Ur heart. Enjoy Ur life AND wait 4 a person who comes forward 4 U only acept him. Rest all R toys play with them & pass time.

Confidence is the key. Any girl can get a guy if it is evident that a girl loves who they are and accept it. If a girl is constantly telling everyone that they're fat they'll drive everyone insane. It's the exact same the other way around!

Friends will see true beauty in a person who is honest, trustworthy, fair, and shows compassion and respect. When you make these qualities part of yourself, you will be beautiful, and everyone will see it.
