We have Ireland , Scotland and Welsh food too ya know !!

What - tatties and neeps, bangers and mash, cucumber sandwiches? I have eaten all over the world and British cuisine is not anywhere near the top of the list.

I eat british food every day and its rubbish. When I win the pools I'm going to employ a cook and keep out of the damned kitchen

Typical british cuisine is terrible.
However, in the UK (especially London) you can get some of the best ethnic cuisine, from everywhere in the world.
You can perfectly avoid the Yorkshire pudding and the kidney pies ;)

I'm not sure whether it is the best in the world, but it is certainly diverse and varied because as well as the British countries we have influences from all over the world..
I'm sure there are good and bad in whichever country you're in.

haggis? blocked arteries all the way with full fried breakfast? cups of TEA?

no no no, italian must be the most truly awesome. or i hear the french are good cooks.
although, my dearest 14 yr old friend did just get awarded 2nd best chef under 16 in the country (go you!)

ABSOLUTELY, can't beat lovely roast rib of beef cooked just pink with home made yorkshire puds, roast spuds/parsnips, real gravy and all the veg. you have to cook proper old English food to appreciate how good our food is and how ancient some of the recipes of english food are. blimey....i'm hungry

when i went to Europe
England well British was the worst.
me, i am Italian and wen we went to visit our family in sicily
there is nothing better than a homemade meal!!
