why does he keep eating it? is this normal? what should i do..

it means that they have a digestive problem is what my vet told me once. it is their way of detoxing themselves. i would still take him to the vet just to be sure.

My dog eats grass all the time when she is outside playing. Last week she ate a handfull of grass before I could stop her and the next day she puked 7 times, we were worried and took her to the vet and they gave us some meds to calm her tummy. But other than that, they said she was fine and said that it is definitely normal for a dog to eat grass. If you are worried about it, or your dog is puking consistently, call your vet and they can give you professional advice. :)

It is perfectly normal for a dog to eat grass. Some do it to calm a bad stomach, some do it just because they like it.
If they have a bad stomach, it's likely that they will bring some of the grass they eat back up. You should seek advice from your vet if you're not sure.

He is probably sick
take him to a vet.
He is eating the grass because he has a tummy ache
he is throwing up not because of the grass but something else. Take immediate action to this. he could be extremely sick.

A dog will eat grass if he feels discomfort in his stomach. It makes them throw up in order to get whatever is bothering them out of their system faster. Make sure you are only feeding him high quality dog food and no human food. Make sure he doesn't get into any garbage or anything. If he keeps doing it talk to a vet to make sure that it isn't anything serious.

even cats do this. sometimes they have a stomach or gut problem that they take care of themselves by eating the grass. since you know that what you feed them, and that grass is'nt necessarily on the menu they are inducing vomit on their own. actually very smart of them. i have also heard about it contains vitamins or something. if you are ever unsure about your pet, take him to the vet for professional advice.

It is nothing to worry about all dogs do this. It is a way to agitate the stomach & cause them to throw up to relieve the stomach. Cats do it too.

dogs eat grass when they have a sour stomach. it makes them vomit. happens all the time. If worried, see a vet.

he must have some kind of stomach problem,the eat grass to settle stomach, take to vet
